Join the Tourette Association of America and the New York State Consortium Center of Excellence for a FREE Tourette workshop for educators and families affected by Tourette and Tic Disorders. This symposium will offer an overview on Tourette and Tic Disorders, and impact of TS and Tic Disorders on student learning and management in school settings, an overview of the resources offered through the NY Centers of Excellence, and managing periods of life-transition, whether it is going to college, entering the work force, and other aspects of living with Tourette or Tic Disorders.

Immediately following this session, the Tourette Association of America will sponsor a free workshop for all primary care providers working with Tourette and Tic Disorders. This symposium will offer an overview on tic disorders for community healthcare providers to help them accurately diagnose and manage tic disorders in the primary care setting.  In a highly interactive format, primary care health care providers will receive practical information and tools for their first patient encounter with Tourette and Tic Disorders.
