André Rieu’s 2012 Hometown Concert – Live in Maastricht – marks the 25th Anniversary of André and his Johann Strauss Orchestra performing together and is one of the most spectacular annual concerts in Maastricht to date. In addition to performing highlights from the past 25 years, they will also be joined by the incredible 150 Royal Choir Society’s Maastreechter Staar. Also, includes special guests, The St. Petersburg Trio as well as the creator of the much-loved Smurf characters, Father Abraham.
The performance is a wonderful night of laughter, dancing, singing, great happiness and a few tears.
The renowned Dutch violinist and conductor is one of the world’s most successful touring artists and each year he performs a series of concerts in his hometown of Maastricht in The Netherlands. These concerts are André’s most popular with thousands of fans flocking from all over the world to witness the incredible music event set amongst the dramatic backdrop of his beautiful hometon.
The concert is presented by Charlotte Hawkins, and includes a backstage interview with André, exclusively for cinema audiences.
