Book to be discussed is “The Romanov Sisters: The Lost Lives of the Daughters of Nicholas and Alexandra” by Helen Rappaport. The Romanov sisters are referred to as the Princess Dianas of the early 20th century: photographed, talked about, and tragic. Using previously unseen or unpublished letters, diaries and archival sources, biographer Helen Rappaport portrays the real story of these young royals and their fascinating lives, against the backdrop of the last days of Imperial Russia.
