On mainland Asia where there are vast expanses of land, the survival in the Orient of the foremost symbol of long life, good fortune and happiness, the magnificent and treasured Red-crowned Cranes, is threatened. In contrast, in land-limited Japan, the cranes are increasing. Over the past half-century, the co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Dr. George Archibald, has been worked on the welfare of these cranes in China, Japan, North and South Korea, and Russia. Enjoy a wine and cheese reception with Dr. George Archibald after the talk.

Fee: $5 per Member, $7 per Non-member. RSVP to [email protected]
