On Saturday September 21, Hudson Rising 2013 River Tour—in concert with Ossining’s Bicentennial HarborFest—will celebrate a greener Hudson River Valley with heritage ships, a farm feast with local craft beers, live music, outdoor adventure activities, sustainable living and historic exhibits, a wooden boat show, fun family activities, and a fireworks finale.
This single-day festival takes place at Ossining’s public ferry dock and Harbor Square—just north of the Metro North train station—from 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m. and is open to the public. There is no general admission fee; however individual activities may have their own fees. At the Farm Feast, for example, a $20 sampling ticket includes six tastes of New York State beer, wine, and cider, as well as a savory bounty of Hudson River Valley sourced foods.
This is the fourth and final stop for this year’s tour, has brought fun activities, delicious foods, and environmental lessons that can help inspire and catalyze smart, sustainable economic growth in the region.
