Every October, the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) celebrates Family Portrait Month by raising money for Operation Smile, a non-profit organization that heals the smiles of children around the world by treating cleft palates, lips and other facial deformities.
In her 11th year of participation, Jamie Kilgore, the Katonah based portrait photographer, has partnered with local businesses to shine more light on this worthy cause.
To participate in Operation Smile through PPA’s Family Portrait Month you can:
1) Book an October portrait session with Jamie and a portion of the proceeds will go to Operation Smile. For more information call 914-232-3642 or email [email protected]
2) Attend one of the “Save-A-Smile” events at The Saw Mill Club in Mt. Kisco where Jamie will be taking headshots and donating a portion of the proceeds to Operation Smile. For more information call 914-232-3642 or email [email protected]
3) Participate in the Kids Are Great Dental Associates’ annual October fundraising raffle. They have selected Operation Smile as their 2017 beneficiary.
Each year Operation Smile performs free reconstructive surgeries for children suffering from these facial deformities. It costs only $240 to perform a life changing cleft lip operation, and gives a lifetime of smiles.
