Dark Desert Eagles- The Ultimate Eagles Tribute- featuring Pat Badge of Extreme @ Paramount Hudson Valley Theater
Oct 27 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

The Dark Desert Eagles- the ultimate Eagles tribute- are coming to the Paramount Theater! Touched by the passing of Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey in 2016, Pat Badger- an original member of the multi-platinum rock act Extreme- set out to form the Dark Desert Eagles Band.  Badger set out to find the best in the music community. He enlisted fellow Extreme band member Kevin Figueiredo, multi-instrumentalist Chris Lester, guitar hero Eric Clemenzi, and Berklee College of Music professor Tom Appleman. Each of the musicians in the Dark Desert Eagles painstakingly re-creates the amazing soaring harmonies and music of The Eagles! “But just pulling off the music is just part of it,” says Badger, an enormous fan of The Eagles’ musicianship, vocal harmonies, and timeless repertoire. “We really want to bring the audience back in time to the 70s! The image is almost as important as the music and we really paid attention to detail on wardrobe, the hairstyles, and the guitars… everything that made the Eagles so cool!” For fans of The Eagles who long for the live re-creation of some of the greatest hits of a generation, the Dark Desert Eagles are the ultimate tribute to The Eagles. Songs like “Take It Easy”. “Witchy Woman”, “Desperado”, “Tequila Sunrise”, “Already Gone”, “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Hotel California”, and several gems from the Eagles’ member’s solo career are masterfully re-created during the live show.

Yngwie Malmsteen- World on Fire Tour @ Paramount Hudson Valley Theater
Nov 9 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Grammy nominated and critically acclaimed guitar maestro Yngwie’s Malmsteen’s explosive guitar has firmly established him in the neo-classical and rock categories. He’s inspired aspiring guitarist worldwide for decades with such powerhouse classic albums as “Marching Out”, “Trilogy”, “Odyssey,”  “Live in Leningrad/Trial By Fire”, “Fire & Ice”, and “Inspiration”. Malmsteen’s first album, “Rising Force” made it to #60 on the Billboard charts in 1984, gained him a Grammy nomination for best rock instrumental performance, and the album became Album of the Year. Then, Malmsteen proved that he was much more than a rock phenomenon in 1997 when he produced his first completely classical work, Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra in Eb minor, Op. 1. This groundbreaking album was recorded in Prague with the prestigious Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and famed symphony conductor Yoel Levi. 200 marked Malmsteen’s resurgence on the rock music scene – he scored the cover of Guitar World’s “Kings of Shred” issue, appearing alone on the cover instead of sharing it with other musicians and released his first studio album in several years titled “Perpetual Flame”. Perhaps the biggest, recognition, however, came in October when Malmsteen was inducted into Hollywood’s Rock Walk of Fame on Sunset Boulevard. Time Magazine, placed Malmsteen as one of the “10 Greatest Electric Guitar Players.”
