Workshops, April 13 and 14 from 12 – 4 p.m.
WHAT: Visiting Artist Denise E. Allen spends the weekend at the Katonah Museum of Art Quilt Lab. On Saturday, create your own 19th-century doll following Denise’s uniquely wonderful style that re-uses clothing scraps, beads, old lace, and other found objects. On Sunday, tell a story of love with found objects, embroidery, photographs, and more, as you embellish and quilt a heart to make a 16-inch wall hanging. Each workshop is $65 members, $75 non-members, and includes all materials.
