A Day of Wild Foods in New Rochelle

On Sunday, April 27, beginning at 11am, Recologie will join with America’s go-to guy for foraging, naturalist/author “Wildman” Steve Brill, who will be giving a free presentation of local wild foods for adults and children at the New Rochelle Public Library.

After the one hour lecture where you will get to see, touch, and taste some of the best-tasting, most healthful wild herbs, greens, shoots, and roots of early spring, you can walk across the street for a $10 Prix Fixe vegan/vegetarian lunch at Recologie, the new destination which is Cafe, Boutique, and Gallery all in one place.

At 1pm the group will reassemble at Webster Ave. and Flandreau Street for a 2 hour foraging tour of Nature Study Woods.

1am at the New Rochelle Public Library (Lawton Street entrance)

12pm lunch at Recologie

1pm foraging begins at Nature Study Woods.
