A widely recognized expert on American quilts, Robert Shaw talks about quilts made as art and describes how the art quilt movement and the boundaries of traditional quilt-making have expanded and overlapped in the last decade. Shaw is a former curator at the Shelburne Museum (VT) and has curated exhibitions at major American museums, including the National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian Institution.
