Meet You at the Movies Café Launches at Temple Shaaray Tefila on March 23
Direct from Israel, we are excited and proud to welcome Einat Kapach, Director/International Relations & Special Projects, from The Ma’aleh Film School. The Ma’aleh Film School has brought Jewish films to the world for more than two decades.
Barriers is an intelligent film that tells a provocative story. Uri, a young officer, together with two soldiers under his command, are manning a checkpoint in the territories. Two women from the “Watch” organization try to interfere with their work. Uri is confused as he receives an order to close the checkpoint because of a bomb threat amidst the women’s screaming. An unpredictable outcome ensues…
Come find out what happens. Einat will lead the post-viewing discussion. There’s sure to be a great exchange of ideas! Light Israeli dinner fare & wine round out what promises to be a fabulous evening. Friends & guests are welcome! Café begins at 6:45 PM with dinner followed by the movie. There is a $10 couvert. RSVP to Robin at 914.666.3133 or [email protected]
