Suburbia Roller Derby’s Suburban Brawl take on the Connecticut Roller Girls Connecticut All-Stars on April 25.

YONKERS, NY – April 25, 2015 – Connecticut will be making the drive down I-95! Suburbia Roller Derby (SRD) of Westchester, NY announces its April 25 bout between Suburbia’s Suburban Brawl and the Connecticut Roller Girls Connecticut All-Stars. The bout will begin at 7 p.m. at the Police Athletic League of Yonkers, 127 N. Broadway, Yonkers, NY with doors opening at 6 p.m..
The SRD/CTRG rivalry has existed since the founding of SRD by two former members of CTRG. Suburbia Roller Derby is pleased to host them!
At the P.A.L., trackside VIP tickets are $20 and include waitresses on skates. General admission seats are $15, and children under 8 are free with a paying adult. Members of the military receive $2 off admission by showing their military ID at the door. Concessions will be available for purchase.

SRD roller derby merchandise will be available for purchase, in addition to food and beverages. All merchandise and ticket proceeds go towards supporting SRD, a non-profit organization, and its mission, to provide a healthy, safe environment (both emotionally and physically) for women, ages 18+, to learn and play the sport of flat track roller derby in Westchester County, NY; to cultivate respect, empowerment and athleticism in all of its members, to be a DIY (do-it-yourself) organization – by the skaters, for the skaters – dedicated to playing and promoting roller derby and supporting its sister derby leagues all over the world and to be supportive members of the community, giving back to local organizations whenever possible through service and volunteerism.

Suburbia Roller Derby (SRD) is Westchester County, New York’s first all female, flat-track roller derby league. The league was formed in June 2007, and its membership consists of approximately 50 women from around the tri-state area, including experienced former members of other local leagues. Suburbia Roller Derby plays a sport that is aggressive, fast paced, fun and exciting.
