With that first guacamole filled bite, I fell in love with Harry and his delicious burritos. Harry’s Burritos, the Cal-Mex restaurant off Chatsworth Avenue in Larchmont, is a haven to local burrito lovers. With it’s easy-breezy laid back vibe and fresh food stuffed with all sorts of goodness, a trip to Harry’s (or pick up order) always ends with a smile.
Free chips and probably the best salsa I’ve ever had start the meal off right. Enjoy them at your table or chill out at the bar with fresh Sangria before dinner. Don’t splurge on the chips, though, because you’ll need plenty of room for later.
Chicken, beef, fish, vegetarian? Harry’s has just about every type of burrito you could imagine. While their non-burrito items are also delicious, I can never convince myself to change it up. They’re just too damn delicious. My all time favorite is a vegetarian option called the Three Grain Burrito, which was recently removed from the menu (gasp! I am still recovering from the shock). Luckily, the Blackened Chicken Burrito and Steak Ranchero Burrito came to my rescue.
Though I generally realize I’m full about half way through the burrito, I warn you that it is incredibly hard to put it down! Wrap it up immediately and bring it for lunch the next day to make all your coworkers jealous; it works like a charm.
Over the past three years, I haven’t been able to find a burrito that compares. Cheers to Harry’s!
P.S. Bring back the Three Grain!
