Running a half marathon is a challenging and inspiring accomplishment no matter where it takes place. Running a half marathon through the heart of New York City knowing that you’ve raised thousands of dollars to find cures for blood and other cancers is life changing.
On March 20, 2016 the New York City Half Marathon will be taking place; starting in the beautiful Central Park, making its way down the iconic Times Square, and finishing in Battery Park. The Connecticut Westchester Hudson Valley Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training program has 40 spots available into this coveted race.
Not only can Team In Training get you to the starting line with guaranteed entry, but they will get you to the finish line with a training program that is suited for the novice runner, as well as the seasoned one. The NYC Half Marathon team will train together, fundraise together and finish 13.1 miles together.
